In 1939/40 the Club formed a 2nd XI for the first time & affiliated it with the RDCA

A 2nd XI wasn’t established again until we affiliated a team with the RDCA post WW II in the 1946/47 season.
Today in Club history…
- 1915 G.J. (George Williams) ends the season with a Club record 910 runs inc. 3 Tons, with a best of 149* vs. Warrandyte
- 1915 L.A. (Len) Smith scored 108 & took 7/8 vs. Doncaster Heights; the only time in history a 'Ton' & '7 For' has been done in the same match
- 1915 L.A. (Len) Smith's incredible haul of 87 1st XI wickets @ 5.77 (from 9 games inc. 3 x 9 W/I, 3 x 7 W/I & 5 x 10 W/M) may never be beaten
