FTGCC OFFICE BEARERS PHOTOGRAPHS

On Saturday May 7th, 2011, the new Cricket & Football Club Office Bearer’s Honour Boards, mounted in the entry corridor of the W.H. Tew Pavilion were unveiled. The two boards measure 5 m x 1.8 m (each) and highlight the Office Bearers of both Clubs from the origins of the Cricket Club (1882/83) and the Football Club (1892). They were unveiled by the then Mayor of Knox: Cr. Sue McMillan and State Member for Ferntree Gully: Nick Wakeling, in the presence of over 40 Life Members and other guests attending from both Clubs.

1952 J.R.A. (Jim) Bradley took 10/68 in the 1st XI G/F (5/30 & 5/38) vs. FTG Footballers - We won our 5th 1st XI flag in six seasons
1952 A. (Alan) Kirkpatrick took 11/41 in the 2nd XI G/F (7/12 & 4/29) success vs. Lysterfield
1962 Official opening of new Clubrooms (now Scout Hall) celebrated by a match between the stars of the 1940's & 50's vs the 1960's - the former won by 1 run
