The Post Christmas BLUES are beginning to click

After a very slow and unsuccessful start to our season, the 1st XI have started to show some signs of the side we know they can be.
On day one of the match against Undefeated TOP side Upwey, Pete Manneart snagged the first 5 wickets, and had them reeling at 5/59, Mark Butters returned to the attack and grabbed 4 more with our import Fez chiming in with one to have the favourites bundled out for 137. Jayden and Ryan then batted until almost stumps before Ryan fell to a legside catch behind followed by the unfortunate Runnout of Randal leaving the Blues 2/37 in reply. 100 behind with 8 wickets in hand.

Graham Salan & Rob Sevior will this year be the Committee's Social representatives, they would be grateful to hear from any member willing to assist with the setup for the events they organise. A huge part of our Cricket Family enjoyment emanates from the social interaction with fellow club members, both past and present, preparations for all these events must be performed in a timely fashion so as not to interfere with the Cricket being played.
So if you see an event coming up, or you see Graham, Rob and their handful of great helpers, please offer to lend a hand.
Chairs, tables, decorations, refreshments, all need to be moved into place in the shortest timeframe.
